What’s something you never get tired of? The giggles and laughter of my grandchildren.

What are you most likely doing when you’re not working? I try to spend as much time as possible with my three young granddaughters. Just mentioning their names always brings a smile to my face.
What’s something you never get tired of? I never get tired of working on my farm. It’s my escape.
What’s one thing you’ve learned from working with people? If you are loyal to others, they will be loyal to you! How you treat people comes back to you many times over.

What’s one place you’d go back to tomorrow? I’d go back to Florence, Italy, tomorrow to enjoy the sidewalk artists and walk those beautiful streets all over again.
What makes you laugh? Quick wit, perfectly timed sarcasm, and those unexpected moments that turn into a laugh you can’t stop.

What’s something people are usually surprised to learn about you? People are usually surprised to learn that I’m an avid photographer. I love getting outside with my camera and paying attention to the little details you might otherwise miss. It’s a completely different pace from work, and I think it’s taught me to be patient and observant.
What’s one thing you’ve learned from working with people? I’ve learned that people remember how you make them feel more than they remember what you said. Taking the time to listen, understand what matters to someone, and follow through goes a long way.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? My dad always talked to my sisters and me about the “3 C’s” growing up: Character, Confidence and Courage. He would tell us that character is doing what is right, even when nobody is watching. He helped instill values in me that I hold dear even to this day. Now, I try to instill those same values into my children.
What’s something you never get tired of? I have the cutest little boy and girl at home. They have charisma and sass for days and I LOVE every minute I get to spend with them. Being their momma is my absolute favorite part of being me. I am so blessed to have them.
What’s one thing you’ve learned from working with people? To serve people well, you must adjust your style to their preferences. I attempt to anticipate needs where I can and view my coworkers as “internal customers.” There is a wonderful quote that I keep on my board as a reminder. It says: “Strive to be the best for your team; not the best on your team.”
