Where’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?
A European Vacation is the next item on my Traveling Agenda! My ancestors are from Germany and I have always wanted to visit and experience the culture, view the beautiful lakes and mountains, visit the Black Forest, drive along the Romantic Road, and tour the countless castles that set the stage for so many fairy tales.

What are your hobbies, and how did you get into them?
My longest-standing and adored hobby is scrapbooking. After my first “big trip” to NYC at 8 years old, I began documenting the “big moments” –as defined by me- in my first scrapbook. I loved the idea of being the “historian” of my own life and being able to look back and reminisce on some of my favorite memories! Since that time, I have made a number of scrapbooks (each well over 100 pages) that capture special, significant memories that I cherish including my four years at Clemson University, getting engaged and married, and the travel adventures that my husband and I have taken. No pay stub, playbill, brochure, or hotel key gets left behind and it has become a running joke between my friends and me when they ask “Do you want us to keep these {insert items} for your scrapbook?” …If you’re wondering, my answer is always “Yes.”

What’s your favorite season and why?
Although I love each season for its special uniqueness, my favorite season is Fall! The cool and crisp autumn air, weekend adventures to the mountains, back porch sitting, sweater weather, pumpkin spice everything, and Football… are a few of my favorite things!

What’s your favorite sports team and why?
I began attending Clemson University football games when I was still in my mom’s tummy.  Some of my most cherished memories from the time I can remember are of tailgating at Death Valley with my grandparents, mom, and cousins and, of course, watching the Tigers run down the hill and singing “Tiger Rag” after every touchdown. I also spent the best four years of my life in those hills and am a proud Clemson University Alumna. I fully embrace and embody the phrase “I bleed orange!

What activity instantly calms you?
When I need to calm my mind and take some time to myself, I can find that peace on a long, quiet run.

What career highlight are you most proud of?
To date, I am most proud of winning the Pinnacle Award in 2019. This award is given to the top-producing Recruiter at SYSTEMTEC. Since I began working at SYSTEMTEC in 2014, I made it a personal goal to achieve this honor. I love the work that I do- helping IT Professionals achieve their own personal and professional goals- and to also achieve one of my goals while assisting others is a great feeling!  Hard work (and sometimes blood, sweat, and a few tears) pays off!

What energizes you most about your career?
I enjoy talking to people and helping them not only find a fitting role/job but also coaching and in some cases mentoring my candidates throughout the process.
